Moving on , based on reliable news sources such as The Straits Times . The iPhone 5 launch date should be by estimated by the end of october or to be get a better gauge it would be 2 months from the launch from US Cupertino Apple Office.

He added that Singapore, being a ‘tier one’ market, has historically been one of the first non-American markets to carry the handset, typically within two months of its launch there, but declined to say when he expected SingTel to have the handset on sale here.

So when’s the official iPhone 5 release date worldwide?

According to a Japanese site Kodawarisan claimed that Apple will be holding the media event as soon as September 7th. (Wow that’s less than a month or so away)

Overseas telcos like UK O2 has sent out notices to its retail stores announcing that it will be beginning a three-week process to change out the iPhone displays in its UK stores ahead of the launch of the iPhone 5.

Even though this is no solid proof that the iPhone 5 would be launch by the OCT 4 (Updated 7/9 2011) , based on the rumours it sure show’s that the iPhone is rolling in real soon!!

The following is to advise that we are removing the old iPhone unitary between the 22nd August and the 12th September. This is a 3 week programme which will see all iPhone unitary swapped out for new iPhone unitary, and will of course prepare us for the launch of the new smart phone. At the same time we are installing an International Favourites bay to stores that can accommodate the unit, as well as replacing the existing magazine stand with a new freestanding stand.

i can imagine the long queues and apple online store being flooded by kiasu people like me who cant wait to get their hands on the iPhone 5 when it’s launch here in our heartland singapore!

    Seriously get a life dawg.. Apple is obviously sucks, as a company or the products they made. you want some thing 10x or more powerful than iphone/ipad or what ever i-s you called, then consider using android based phones. their hardware owns. ahh.. i heard the samsung galaxy s3 is coming out. its a quad core phone with longer battery life, powerful screen, 2GB of ram, 4G network support and a NFC. take that you isheep. ohh asus transformer prime is using tegra 3 which is also a dual core, twice as powerful as the crap ipad2 and have better graphic performance.
