Phewtick scam?

No Phewtick It’s not a scam , it’s a company from south-korea which aims to reward people for meeting each other as they believe that when you meet new people you have something to learn . Be it just friends or perhaps a relationship? Anyway how it works it’s that all you need to do is download the FREE application( You don’t say) and click MEET!

What you have to do is scan the other party QR code & done!

& yes you bet it’s quite fast to generate some cash , this is what one HWZ member ( DarkBlue) commented :

Meet a few times = avg. chillout sessions drinks 50% subsidised.

How do I withdraw the cash I earned?

Payments will be made to us based on paypal as well as bank account transfer. From what I am seeing now the only available option for me would be paypal. I believe most of us are having the same screen. It’s 24,000 to cash out SGD $31.61 , so yeah it’s locked until we hit the amount of $30. If you don’t already know Paypal can be linked up to your local bank through DBS / POSB as well as other banks.  So now your cash won’t be stuck there.

How does PhewTick profits ?

For entrepreneurs wanna-be (like myself) and for smart people who want to know

They have raised Angel funding to last two years,at this stage the company is not focused on profits but more of user generation. For the first two years, the money that gets paid out to users will come from advertisers. 

After two years, Phewtick intends to generate the cash pile through businesses that want to drive traffic to themselves. For example, a restaurant can ‘purchase’ 100K points and these points must be unlocked at their venues. A great way of making this work would be having the QR code for customers to scan at the end of the receipt. This solves the restaurants problem of how to bring customers to their stores and gives strangers an opportunity to meet.
